|Eligibility:||Older adults 60 years of age and over and adults with disabilities, ages 18-59.|
|Area Served:||McDonough, Bureau, Henderson, Henry, Knox, LaSalle, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island and Warren Counties.|
|Services Provided:||Services available include: Information and Assistance, Outreach Services, Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Meals, Transportation, Senior Health Assistance Programs, and information for family caregivers and grandparents raising grandchildren.
Other services include: Evidence Based wellness programs, In-Home, Adult Day Care and Institutional Respite, Adult Protective Services, Ombudsman, Legal Services to seniors age 60 and above, Caregiver Support programs.
|Comments:||WIAAA sponsors the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
Provides the Living and Learning Series-educational workshops for seniors free-of-charge.
WIAAA is the Area Aging on Aging and Disability Resource Center (ARDC), a single coordinated system of information and access for all persons seeking long term services and supports for seniors 60 and over and persons with disabilities, ages 18 – 59.
