|Comments:||The WIRC, through the community development component, also serves local units of government in Hancock, Henderson, McDonough, Warren, Fulton, and Knox Counties on a per-cost basis with the following: planning and technical assistance activities; grant writing and administration; mapping; preparation of comprehensive plans, ordinances, fiscal analysis, or specific community studies; economic development. The victim services component of the agency provides comprehensive walk-in domestic violence and sexual assault program services to victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault/abuse. Included in this is a 24 hour access to crisis intervention through a hotline.
