Adult volunteers are needed to provide care and attention to hospice patients in Macomb.
Harbor Light Hospice is a philosophy of care that assists patients, family, and friends during the final stages of a terminal illness. We promote dignity and emphasize quality of life for those who choose to die in familiar surroundings with those they love. Even though hospice patients may be nearing the end of their life, they are still very much alive and have the same needs and wants as all the rest of us. No set schedule; volunteers choose how often to visit. Whether it’s watching TV, reading, or simply being present, trained volunteers make a genuine difference in offering meaningful support to the patient and the family.

Strong need for volunteers for Countryview Care Center in Macomb. Requires valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and will conduct background check. Free training.
